Butternut is a good keeper and an excellent choice for recipes calling for a large amount of squash. They are dense— the ‘stem’ is solid squash. The rind is edible, but can be tough, so butternut is usually peeled before use.

Store butternut as you would other winter squashes: at room temperature in a cool, dry spot.

Orders will be available for pick up at the locations below after 4pm on Wednesday, November 1st. Please order by Tuesday, October 28th. Your order will have a sticker with your name on it. If you do not see a sticker with your name on it, please do not take it with you!
